Clothes for Christmas?! This just won't stand. Mad Dog's gonna do something about this... but what?!

I've Christmas-i-fied the site! so if you still see the Halloween theme going on, try refreshing your page a few times! :D

Woo-hoo! December 1st! for some it marks the beginning of the holiday season. For me it used to be the day after thanksgiving... but I've realized one month isn't enough time, so I actually start after Halloween! Thanksgiving is just like a pre-Christmas dinner for me.

Amen to that! I never get practical crap I need for Christmas. It's all about Video games and movies for me!

Yeah saaaame here! I always knew that if I shook a box and it was a light shuffle sound, that it was just clothes in that tissue paper. Even to this day I don't like clothes for Christmas, unless it's like a ninja turtle shirt, then it's ok because it's connected to toys.

whoa! that was a serious bone crushing hug! The look on MDs face the panel after was hysterical!!
LooeyQ 1st Dec 2012, 10:36 AM Edit Delete Reply
Thanks!!! To get the face just right I had to have a heavy set fellow give me a big bear hug. Needless to say my ribcage isn't thanking me for it.

It's neat to see his owners; we haven't seen them in a long time.

Also, I love the Halloween shout-out with the line, "Anything but a sandwich." XD

Clothes for Christmas is the ultimate wet blanket. ._.

My little cousin (who's 8) is the only kid in what's left of my aging family. She makes no bones about the clothes issue at Christmas, or on B-days. The clothes get tossed aside without so much as a glance. ;)
LooeyQ 2nd Dec 2012, 12:03 PM Edit Delete Reply
Thats how you know you have a good honest kid on your hands. Its when the kids actually like clothes that you should be worried.

Christmas is about getting stuff you want and not what you need?...boy, I must be getting old because to me Christmas is about spending way too much money. It is usually the time when I can't afford to by myself stuff that I want.
LooeyQ 2nd Dec 2012, 12:03 PM Edit Delete Reply
Yeah, the holidays usually leaves you broke trying to get evryone fancy crap that they may never use.

Last Xmas I got a new carpet-sweeper and an ironing board. This year I'm hoping for a sandwich.
LooeyQ 2nd Dec 2012, 12:02 PM Edit Delete Reply
I wish someone would get me a andwich for christmas, I would never see that coming. As long as its not a evil possessing sandwich.

Haha, everybody should know that you don't get what you need for Christmas you get what you think you need. Like an Xbox or a new computer. You totally need those way more than socks or at least that's what you think.
LooeyQ 8th Jun 2013, 8:36 PM Edit Delete Reply
Exactly! But when you're kid, it's not just what you think, it's what you know! :D
